Work, work, work.

My Beloved Mister is out of fulltime work. It's been a major adjustment around these parts. Losing a job, when unplanned and with a baby and a much needed income and benefits package is harsh. And yet, as a family, we view this all as an opportunity to reinvent ourselves and align with the next right thing.

In recent weeks, we've celebrated the Mister's birthday, our wedding anniversary, our son's full-on joyful take on walking and the money that came through to fund my salary with the very wonderful Mothers Acting Up, beginning in January.

With an election around the corner and darker days coming on sooner (both literally and figuratively), we're in for a haul. We aim to do what needs doing and keep on keeping on.
