Strawberries!

I can tell you that the organic locally grown berries are one of the finest things to pass my lips this time of year. We got a quart in last week's CSA share, and wow!!

Please join Friends of the Nashville Farmers' Market in supporting thenew "Producers Only" Section of the Nashville Farmers' Market, whilealso celebrating (and enjoying) the yummy local strawberries at theMarket this weekend during the Strawberry Jubilee.

FNFM will be sponsoring the "kids activity table" where we will host astrawberry tasting = comparing non-organic commercially grownstrawberries, organic store-bought strawberries and strawberries directfrom the farm available at the Market, as well as highlight some fun facts about strawberries and locally grown foods.

In addition, there will be music, activities and the chance to sample several tasty strawberry treats each day including strawberry pops fromPaletta, strawberry soup, and strawberry gelato.

.WHEN: Saturday, May 20th & Sunday May 21st - 11am to 2pm

    I really liked the quilt in the photo. Do you have a pattern for it? I'm a new blogger, today is my first day. I don't have an account. I just found you & will probably never be able to find you again. Anyway, whoever made that quilt did a great job. Its facinating!
